Architect and lead developer of Intergraph 'PPM managed Bootstrapper application',
a WPF based Bootstrapper built on top of “Burn” (Wix Bootstrapper engine).
This bootstrapper designed and built from the ground up
It supports: install, uninstall, modify, repair ,both in silent and UI mode,
Feature Tree, Standard command line arguments
Like INSTALLLEVEL, InstallFolder, feature selection with REMOVE, ALL
Products custom command line arguments(e.g. SERIALNUMBER,SERVEROPTIONS etc....), custom feature page, custom modify page, custom welcome page,custom prerequisites page
Customization of many other aspects through the manifest file (BootstrapperApplicationData.xml) and Preprocessor extensions.
Major and Minor upgrades
Removable upgrades (uninstall able patches)
Distributed to teams as a SDK(3-4 dlls and wix lib) and Visual Studio custom project template.
Standard bootstrapper for Intergraph Process, Power & Marine division , world wide.
