Claire Ibbotson is full time freelance graphic and web designer based in Israel. Claire has had 4 years experience in the Graphic Design Industry and she holds a Diploma of Computer Graphic Design from Natcoll Design and Technology in New Zealand.
Assignment Photographer: Rafael Ben-Ari
Rafael Ben-Ari became an on location photographer after gaining a Professional Photography Diploma from NYI, studying at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design - Jerusalem, and traveling the world to immerse himself in many manners of work and cultures around the world. Rafael believes that the contact and the learning of his subject helps him to feel empathy and understanding in his subjects so he can convey to the public the reality of life through his eyes.
Rafael is an experienced photojournalist and freelance photographer, specializing in editorial, commercial and travel photography. Rafael is comfortable working with analogue film, slides, 35mm, digital, panoramic and underwater cameras. On location, he makes use of both available light and artificial light. Rafael speaks fluent English, Hebrew and basic Arabic.
Rafael's work is well recognized. His pictures have appeared in a large number of publications including ACP Media magazines, North & South, Metro, The Cut, as well as other major magazines and web sites worldwide. He has showcased his photography at two solo exhibitions and one joint exhibition. Rafael was also honored by the Waitangi National Trust of NZ when three of his images became national stamps in a collectors edition.
Today, Rafael is based in Israel, but travels extensively. he is working on several photography projects such as corporate photography for Connex and recently covered the Israel Disengagement Plan. He is constantly building up his independent business: 'Chameleons Eye photography assignments & stock photos' a one man image bank and custom photo service. Rafael's image archive includes pictures taken in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, South America, New Zealand and of course - Israel and the Middle East. Occasionally, he slows down by spending time cycling, drawing, cooking, meditating, studying theology, and giving private photography tutoring and public lecturing.
Specialties: I can provide you a photo shoot service in any location: underwater, underground, hot or cold destinations, desert or bush anywhere in the world.
