Adi Harari
Artist Statement:
Photography is my space for meditation; a world of my own where I can vanish
behind the lens and discard all the daily concerns. My aim is to push and go
beyond boundaries as a woman and artist
spaces that are thinly hidden from public view.
I have found a creative space which mirrors my art, in which I
simultaneously feel part of the public eye and rest hidden in a secret
room: passing on to the world what I draw from my life.

Education
1994-1995 Private lessons in fine art under the teaching of artist Mark Shov. Rehovot.
1995-1997- Studied Fashion design at Miriam School of Design in Tel Aviv
1997-2000 Studied Photography at Camera Obscura School of Art, Tel Aviv
2000-2001 Continual studies in Photography at School of Visual Arts, New York
Projects and Professional development
2002-2004 working for CMI Photography Agency as a portfolio retoucher, editor and printer. New York
2003- Collaboration with Propaganda Art ensemble at Eickholt Gallery, New York
2001-2002 First assistant to fashion and commercial photographer Piotr Sikora. My duties included location finding and set up. New York
2000- Photographer for the production “Books Talk” and “Visual Dictionary for the Traveller” published by Hakibbutz Hameuchad. Tel Aviv
Freelance Fashion Photography for designers and agencies:

Adi is a house artist for renowned lifestyle and trends magazine Clam. The Magazine is distributed twice a year in selected countries such as UK, USA, Italy, Japan, France and others
2 front covers and an editorial for Russian-Israeli Art and Lifestyle Magazine Zuza
"Photographers at Work" television program. 3 episodes in collaboration with Fashion TV and Zuza Magazine
