Edward Turner is a polyglot developer, knowing Python, R and Scala, and understanding the syntax of Java and C/C++. He is also a Data Scientist with software development experience. Edward has his masters of science in applied mathematics from Stony Brook University. He utilizes the programming languages Python and R to create predictive and statistical models, and he has used the data management modules in Python and R, and MySQL for data mining. Edward has experience optimizing various algorithms by a combination of code profiling and using JIT compilations. More recently, he utilizes the spark framework within his technical stack in his current software development projects.

In addition to Edward's work in Data Science, he has worked on developing simple landing pages, using the Javascript frameworks VueJS and Bootstrap, on generating leads for others.

Edward is overall interested in working with people, either involved in Data Science or Web development.
