A strong media/reporting background means that if it has a lens and some degree of photosensitivity, I probably know my way around it. I'll resist making a(n even bigger) joke out of that last statement but as far as still photography is concerned, I mostly just do the odd batch-processing job these days. Due to being well-equipped to handle those. No one's really hiring photographers out of the blue any longer, and I ain't exactly offering my services in this niche, either. Not any longer, at least. But definitely a useful auxiliary skillset to have in my lines of work.
