Entry description
I am a free lance photographer.
I was trained in Paris to studio photo practice, I worked as a photographer on many fields, as events or education. My knowledge in lighting brought me to the video business, as director of photography and director.
Today I mainly work as a photo reporter.
My work is about the cultural aspect of societies. I focus particularly on topics such as religion and traditions of ethnic groups, especially in Asia and Africa. I travel in these parts of the world since more than twenty years, I master lot of cultural codes and some languages.
At a time that transport allows Chinese to be our neighbours, it seems important to me to link our ability to meet them with the one to learn about them.
I appropriate this quote from Alexandra David Néel: « The one who travel without meeting people doesn't travel, he is moving. »
I work for magazines as National Geographic France but I made Alya in 2014, I am still shooting abroad, but I want now to be part of Israel, work and live here.
In order to achieve it, I’ll be glad that you contact me and start doing projects together. .
