Translation of an image acquisition GUI from Matlab to an Android app

We wrote an image acquisition GUI in Matlab that we want translated to an Android app that runs on the Nexus 4. The GUI takes the image acquired by the camera and performs very basic operations: translation, rotation, flipping, adding and subtracting, or selecting one of the RGB color channels. The transformed image is then displayed on the screen.
