A cosmetics manufacturer and brand owner in Israel is looking for a graphic designer to work on new designs and concepts for ranges of hair, body and face products for the USA market. Experience in the beauty industry is required and familiarity with FDA labelling regulations is an advantage. You will be working on new lines within existing brands and creating new brands or products according to customer demands. Knowledge of current trends and designs in the beauty industry is an advantage. Understanding of the requirements for mass market labels which stand out on the shelves of the large chain stores in the USA is of benefit. Experience of working with different bottle shapes and colors, of label designs for bottled products and of box designs for face products is essential.

Examples of projects include:
• A new line of haircare (shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, hair serum and hair masks).
• A dual language Spanish/English labelling project for a haircare line of bottles.
• Design of a new face care line with boxed tubs and sprays.

You will be expected to be familiar with printing options including the use of foil and other highlighting techniques, transparent labels, and box/packaging design. You will be able to not only suggest cost-effective solutions but also to coordinate with the printers throughout the process.

The work is on a freelance remote basis and either hourly or project based.
