UNIX, Linux
2009-2011 “Opgal”, R&D Group (Hardware & Software – Embedded Systems).
During my work at Opgal I gave a new Architecture to an existing Software project. The Architecture was consisted of: Abstract layers, Libraries, Adapters and dismissed the software from its DSP Hardware (Texas Instrument's DaVinci TMS320DM6437) & Operating System (Texas Instrument's DSPBIOS RTOS) dependency.

I migrated an existing 16 bit Fixed Point Image Processing Algorithms to support a 32/64 bit Floating Point calculation.
I Wrote Drivers to support a RS422 Communication Protocol with a Telescope System.
I Implemented a Proprietary RS232 Communication Protocol between the DSP and a PC.
I Implemented a Proprietary Communication Protocol between the DSP and a FPGA Chip.

I developed an embedded (running on Texas Instrument's NETRA DM8168) Web GUI based on a Client/Server Architecture which consists of the Apache Web Server, CGIs written in Perl on the server side and HTML, JavaScript & AJAX in the client side. The System had to support multi user environment & 3rd party changes to the GUI according to a XML database. In addition, I developed an authentication module for web access using the Linux's Kernel PAM services.

2007-2008 “Lumenis”, R&D Group (Hardware & Software – Embedded Systems).
During my work at Lumenis I used DSP (Texas Instrument's TMS320F2808) to control
(Regulation according to Frequency & Phase) Digital Power Supply (600V, 600W; 350V,
300W) system and implemented (using C/C++): Digital Filters, Interrupts, Communication Drivers (RS232, CANBus, SPI), Regulation Algorithms. Worked with peripheral electronics circuits.
I migrated an existing 16 bit Fixed Point Regulation Algorithms to support a 16 bit Floating Point calculation and Kept the System's RT timing demands.

2011-2003 “Chameleon.org.il”, Linux, Embedded Linux & Open SUSE portal, Entrepreneur & Founder.
As the founder of the website, I was in charge of the budget, working with external
constructors, modification & customization of the phpBB system, writing technical support
documentation, management of the support group and found Israel's open SUSE community.

2003-2000 “Impulse Dynamics”, R&D Group (Hardware & Software – Embedded Systems).
Network's System Administrator.
During my work at Impulse I used the Microchip's PIC16C77 to implement (using C) Timing,
Muscle's activity Sensing and Pacing Algorithms for a Cardiac Pace Maker application. At the
same period I was in charge of the company's Network which consisted of Microsoft's NT
domain, and a DMZ segment which hosted a Linux Email Server.

Extra knowledge:
TI's OMAP & DaVinci (ARM and C64 DSP) Architecture & DSP Link.
TI's Framework Architecture: XDAIS, xDM & eXpress DSP.
