- Designed and integrated the transcoding and delivery of the mobile TV solution for a large mobile operator. My roll consisted of consulting which h/w (network, storage and servers) and which s/w (propriety and 3rd party) to use in each section of the transcoding and delivery.
The solution consisted of 300 live channels coming from different sources (mainly satellite), creating different profiles for multi bitrate environment and delivering to Web (Silverlight) mobile (HLS, HDS, RTSP and Silverlight).
The cluster consists 80 servers which are in n+1 architecture, all stateless and hot-swappable.
Security aspects include user monitoring (User Access Control) and hashed links to avoid stream "kiddnaping".

- Design and implemented Video Optimization solution. The solution is located on the operator's data backbone and acts as transparent proxy. The solution can optimize up-to 1GBps of online Video while reducing the RF network in ~30%. The solution also consisted of multi servers environment, all stateless in n+1 architecture.
