Senior DevOps Engineer - for 3 months FULL TIME

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work for 3 months full-time in BE'ER-SHEVA next to train station (mandatory presence 3 days a week in the office) to serve as a technical authority and stabilization anchor during a critical growth phase.

This role is focused on ensuring production stability, strengthening our cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure, and elevating DevOps standards across the organization. The engineer will work closely with R&D, QA, Systems, and leadership to support major initiatives, including SaaS transition, CI/CD improvements, and platform modernization.

Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of production stability, reliability, and DevOps architecture during a transition period
Lead incident resolution and root-cause analysis in production environments
Design, improve, and scale cloud-native infrastructure (Azure / AWS)
Manage and optimize production-grade Kubernetes clusters (AKS / EKS)
Strengthen CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Implement Infrastructure as Code best practices (Terraform or equivalent)
Improve monitoring, observability, and operational maturity
Support and optimize existing production customer environments
Document architecture and operational procedures to reduce single points of failure
Mentor internal DevOps engineers and elevate technical standards

Required Professional Experience:
5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in production environments
Proven ownership of production-grade Kubernetes clusters (AKS / EKS / Rancher / Openshift)
Scaling, upgrades, monitoring, security hardening
Strong experience with Linux systems (cloud and on-prem)
Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS
Proven experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent)
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible or equivalent)
Solid experience with IaC (Terraform preferred)
Experience handling high-availability
