Hi,
Am assuming that you don't need co-located freelancers for this opportunity.
A. Bit about myself -
I am a Sun Certified Enterprise Architect (~90%) and have hard-core development exp of 14+ years in mainly product engineering organizations as a Java Developer and later as a Java Architect-Developer.
B. Have worked on following -
1. Spring - Core/IOC/AOP/integration/security - Leveraged Spring to wire disparage components, organize middle-tier objects, facilitate better data access (database/filesystem/nosql). Further Used Aop for tranaction management, profiling and auditing. Have utilized Spring to build transaction systems deployed in Tomcat and not needing expensive containers as Weblogic/Websphere.
2. ORM - JPA - Hibernate for database agnostic dao layer, Eclipse Toplink - JPA for MongoDB. So in short have experience in designing data store agnostic (NoSQL/DB) and database agnostic Java applications.
3. JBPM - For building workflow centric applications.
4. Apache Camel - Primarily used in building applications that need to integrate with multiple data sources (file feeds\Reuter feeds\JMS feeds\etc)
5. NoSQL - Have experience in selecting the right kind of NoSQL depending on functional requirements - For example using Neo4j (Graph based) for use cases as dynamic hierarchy management and Mongo DB for Reporting.
6. Miscellaneous - Web Services - REST/SOAP, Caching - Ehcache, etc.
7. Security - Designing SSO based applications for products in enterprise or SAS landscape.
8. Architecture - Products are built by giving a lot of thought to design and architecture perspectives. Efficient modelling, better threaded model, faster algorithms may be design concerns. But performance, scalability, ability to adjust to a changing functional and technical landscape, etc are primarily architectural concerns. Have experience to bring both the perspectives to the table while coding.
9. And am familiar to ANT/Maven, GIT/any other SCM tool/CI using Hudson, have experience using pro filers as AppsDynamic/JBoss Profiler and using tools as JMeter for load simulation.
10. From a coding perspective, have experience in data structures, threading, using design patterns, Collections, etc.
11. Experience on Linux/Windows
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C. Initial approach to relationship building -
I typically use OpenShift (similar to AWS) as a platform to show case my POC's\demos.
Am game to do a POC representing your needs at no cost just to validate the content written earlier.
D. My team
I primarily work by myself. This suffice for most cases. And at some times do engage a team (2-5 ppl) for which I am responsible. My clients don't need to hear from them and I am a single point of contact
E. Have also experience in product deployment, hosting, security and planning operation and mitigation plans, contingency and backup and any technical governance related issue.
Looking forward to hear from you and would really appreciate to address questions or concerns, if any.
Thanks and Regards,
