I am a licensed lawyer in Israel. I hold an LLB from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an LLM from Yale law School.

I served as an intern at the Jerusalem D.A.’s Office for Criminal Prosecution. there I gained extensive practical legal experience on diverse aspects of the criminal justice system. Just two month into the internship, I was already pleading cases before the Magistrate’s Court. These cases were under my direct responsibility from the moment they arrived at the Prosecutor’s Office from the police investigation unit. I also gained substantial experience in: analyzing evidence in order to determine whether or not to initiate proceedings (a hands-on exercise of prosecutorial discretion); drafting indictments, closing arguments and other legal briefs; preparing, examining and cross-examining witnesses; meeting with defense council; and assisting senior prosecutors.
