Avad Barkat

I have studied my B.A in architecture for four years, where I have learned many important skills to improve the design as much as possible.
The main reason behind conducting a bachelor’s degree in architecture is my passion for design and creativity, but as soon I started studying architecture, I realized the power of design and what a big responsibility it is, and how we can use it in so many different ways. I believe in a humanistic perspective, and I consider it as a core value of mine, design is a great tool to use in order to create a more just society. I believe in social, economic, and environmental justice and I have been very interested in sustainability. I have gradually become enthusiastic about developing ideas and conducting research in the fields of nature conservation, sustainable design, and climate crisis and adding the feminine perspective of planning our cities.

Throughout my architectural studies, I have learned illustrator (Adobe) and used it for almost five years to create diagrams, charts, infographics, and so on to emphasize my idea with the power of visualization.
