Deal with various DBA tasks across AWS RDS as well as native systems on top of SoftLayers.
Tasks may include:
1.installation and patches
2. replication creation
3. backups and restore
4.Custom scripting
5.Automatic/Manual failover testing, implementation and optimization
6.Automatic storage encryption
7.Evolution of Monitoring metrics and alerts (with historical data views)
8.Problem investigation: debugging, error handling, escalations
