Bicycle GPS – Smartphone porting project

A start-up produces and develops a unique Biking and Hiking GPS navigation product.
Our current line of product was develop in C++ and is based on a Windows CE hardware device.
These days we are planning to move and port our software to Android and iOS and we are looking to outsource this task.
Key points to note:
• All our current code is in C++ . The current source code will be available for you to review and re-use freely.
• We have detailed product wireframe and written spec (PRD). The specs are for the WinCE device and will have to be re-work in order to meet the obvious changes for smartphones.
• The current map engine is based on 3rd party SDK. This part cannot be ported to Android/iOS. Therefore a new component needs to be implemented.
• Timeframe for this project is immediate and need to be release before the end of this year.
