The pdf2swf converter from the swftools project (http://www.swftools.org/) works great in the 90+ % of cases
Unfortunately there are rare cases when the outcome is not satisfiable for our purposes
Most of cases are related to transparency/shading issues as the following

FATAL Internal error: badly balanced softmasks/transparency groups
WARNING multiply blended transparency groups not yet supported
WARNING screen blended transparency groups not yet supported

and not applying transparency

Also there is a source PDF when the result .swf causes a browser to freeze
The test PDF set will be supplied
The source code is GPLv2 and will be submitted to the swftools upstream project
