The objective of the required position is to participate in a multi-disciplinary research collaboration to extract useful biological insights from complicated large datasets. The candidate is required to have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. Requirements: At least 5 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models - Must Experience using statistical languages (R, , etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets - Must Experienced with a variety of machine techniques (clustering, decision tree , artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks. - Must Experienced with statistical and data mining techniques - Advantage Experience analyzing data from 3rd party providers - Advantage Experienced with distributed data/computing tools - Advantage
