The UX/UI designer drives the design of our current and next generation mobile health products. We are looking for people with a strong desire to innovate and lead digital health apps design and work with cross functional teams to build products with a potential for vast adoption in the market in a lean and agile work environment. Responsibilities: Identify the need for and participate in user research and usability testing sessions Work collaboratively with developers, testers and product management to translate user needs into intuitive designs Develop wireframe sketches, workflows and prototypes Create and maintain Style Guide and Specification documents Present findings and design rationales Perform tasks as assigned, working independently with guidance from of the Director of Design on complex tasks and projects Required Qualifications A degree in Human Factors, HCI, visual design, user research, interaction design or equivalent experience, supplemented by a thorough and current understanding of the best practices of the UX domain. 7+ years of proven experience working on the design aspects of mobile applications. Must have portfolio of examples. Experience in working with Sketch well and working with their symbol libraries Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills in English Strong graphical design background with a bias toward simplicity, elegance and minimalism found in modern applications. Strong design sensibility with motion, animation and transitions. Ability to work at least twice a week in the evenings in order to collaborate with the Director of design and the team in the US Ability to travel abroad up to twice a year Nice to have: Experience working on medical software applications Experience working with distributed teams
