We are looking for a skilled and reliable Full Stack Engineer to join us on a part-time subcontractor basis – on a retainer for long term engagement. You will maintain, enhance, and support an existing medical information system used by thousands of users.
Technologies & Skills
• AWS EC2
• Apache
• PHP
• JavaScript / jQuery
• MySQL
• Experience working with APIs in PHP (e.g., using cURL)
Onboarding & Collaboration
• Initial training provided by the company’s CTO (based in Israel)
• Ongoing guidance and support after onboarding
• Work closely with support and sales teams once familiar with the system
Engagement Details
• Long-term engagement
• Fixed monthly retainer
• Commitment of ~20–40 hours per month (flexible)
Work Environment
• Fully remote position
• Work with a US-based management team
• Participate in weekly Zoom meetings (in English)
Requirements
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Mature mindset with a careful, thoughtful approach to changes
• Experience supporting live production systems
• Ability to plan, test, and implement changes incrementally
