We are looking for an experienced freelance developer to build a parametric 2D planning application for dry-glazed glass railing systems, starting with our TK8200 system.
This is not a generic CAD tool.
The app is a rule-based design system that generates shop drawings, glass layouts, BOMs, and cutting lists automatically.
Scope (MVP)
Draw 2D railing layouts (straight runs + basic corners)
Automatic glass panel division
System parameters (glass height, thickness, max panel width, anchor spacing)
Generate:
PDF shop drawings
BOM / cutting lists (Excel or CSV)
DXF export (preferred)
Designed so additional railing systems can be added later via parameters.
Required Experience:
Parametric / geometry-based applications
2D drawing (Canvas / SVG / DXF / CAD automation)
PDF generation + BOM logic
Big advantage: experience in construction, glass, aluminum, or railing systems.
