There is no doubt that history is full of scientists who with their discoveries changed the future of the world, however, not all of them are so well known.

10 little-known scientists who changed the world with their discoveries

If you stop to think, surely you are unable to remember the names of more than four or five people who with their research changed the course of history. Copernicus, Darwin, Newton, or other persons I wish would do my homework online with some of them but there are many more for that, in this article, we introduce you to the ten forgotten scientists:

1. Joseph Lister

He focused his work on the study of wound infection and demonstrated the importance of following basic hygiene patterns in medical centers, which significantly reduced mortality rates.
