You should draw rough sketches of the ideas on paper before taking them to the computer.
Sketching skill isn’t much to be considered here . You should draw even if it’s very rough.
I would recommend sketching on paper instead of digital sketch. Sketch all ideas you
have, than pick the ones that looks great.
Keep a sharp eye while designing logos for any brand.Balance is important in logo design
because our minds naturally perceive a balanced design as being pleasing and appealing.
Keep your logo balanced by keeping the “weight” of the graphics, colors, and size equal on
In logos size is of real importance and it matters a lot. A logo isn’t effective if it looses it’s
details when scaled down. A logo should also look good when used in larger size. The size
of elements in case on iconic style logos should also be considered. Keep it simple and
unique.
Choosing the right color is the most important thing to consider while designing logo. Make
use of colors as per the company guidelines and their services. Don’t use bright colors that
are irritating for eye. Logo must look good in black & white, grey scale and two other colors.
Use adjacent shades of colors. Don’t Make it a mess!
The simpler the logo, the more recognizable it will be. Make your design look simple as the
market now is loving the simplicity. To stand out from the competition, you must distinguish
yourself as a designer with a distinct style. Rather than copy another design or style, be
innovative and stand out from the crowd.
Don’t use much effects while designing logos. 2D Logos are being loved by the companies.
