XPlace's marketplace solution, powered by ExchangeEngine® technology, is an advanced, enterprise-class system that is undergoing constant development, enrichment and innovation. XPlace is looking for extremely talented, highly motivated developers to join us in taking our platform to the next level while spearheading change in the world of online marketplace solutions. The developer should be both a creative thinker and have basic management skills for managing a small team of off-shore software developers. This role will entail exposure to languages and technologies not core to the role, such as PHP, Ruby, Rails, Android, iOS, Objective C, exposure to which will be seen as an advantage.

The client-side developer should live, breath and sleep UI patterns, design best practices and should have solid experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, UI prototyping and testing in both web and mobile environments (multi-browser, multi-device). This position requires the rapid creation of new page structures, work on responsive design on various platforms and display resolutions as well as the implementation of new and innovative designs structures and elements in both new and existing templates while working with IDEs that combine both server-side and client-side code. The developer should be able to effortlessly coordinate tasks between developers, designers and content creators and act as the glue between these roles. This position may entail responsibility for giving the green light for production go-live after complete and thorough feature, scenario and device testing and QA.

Continuous innovation in technology must be accompanied by continuous design and UI-UX innovation as well. The graphic designer will be responsible for taking XPlace's UI to the next level by designing ground-breaking user experiences for both web and mobile. The graphic designer's underlying goal is understand the user's story and their immediate objectives, translate those into actionable designs and work closely with client-side developers to properly implement approved designs. This role may entail some video editing work (advantage). Experience in designing complex web and mobile applications is a must.
